Ground Rules

 Our top ten ground rules that we agreed on from the beginning of the semester:



1-gather every Thursday at 11 am by the lake to keep up and update on the assignment. 

2- The meeting duration does not exceed 1 hour.

3-Areej will be the group leader, and whatever tasks she assigns we will take.

4-When there is a disagreement and we are not reaching to any conclusions, we will flip a coin to finalize our discussion.

5- All criticism that is said must be respectful and actually is something that can be changed. For example, You should fix the grammar mistakes, I think it would be better to use another picture. But not like: Change your clothes, I don’t like your makeup

6- The assignment will be submitted 24 hours before the deadline.

7- Ignoring messages, and calls, and not responding will lead to us contacting the instructor.

8- Anyone who spots a mistake shall say it in the group in a respectful manner so we can change it as soon as possible. Don’t be shy to call out mistakes.

9- If there is any circumstance where a group member cannot attend a meeting, they have to inform us at least 1 hour before our meeting time.

10- There must be a weekly agenda created by our group leader (Areej) and sent to us every Sunday.

An example of a homogeneous group could be a team of software engineers with the same level of experience and from the same country. The main advantage of homogeneous groups is that they often have better initial communication and cohesion, as the members may share common values, language, and perspectives. However, the lack of diversity can lead to groupthink and limit creativity, as members may be less likely to challenge each other's ideas. Diverse groups, on the other hand, are composed of individuals with varying backgrounds, skills, experiences, and perspectives. For instance, a diverse team might include members of different ages, nationalities, and expertise.
