William Schutz Theory

According to William Schutz, there are three interpersonal needs for joining groups. The first interpersonal is Inclusion, he mentioned that it is express inclusion because it is necessary to give all the members attention, and we care about all the members' opinions. That will help the members to understand each other. Also, some members express inclusion and some of us are desired inclusion. The second interpersonal which is the members will get connected with each other is control. So, that means that one of the group members wants to manage the group or guide the members in the work and divide the parts equally. The last interpersonal and the most important one is the affection which is showing respect. Moreover, the group members should care about each other, show kindness and show some positive energy.
